      Join us tomorrow night, April 12th, for our next Urban Planning Coalition Spring Speaker Series' event. In this philosophical talk on GIS, Dennis Klein will present ideas for using GIS to gather a wide variety of input during the planning process.

      Description
      Dennis Klein will present ideas for using GIS to gather a wide variety of input during the planning process. He will present the philosophical reasoning behind the experience-centric approach to GIS and several examples where this approach was used to facilitate inclusion in the planning process.

      Dennis Klein
      Dennis Klein spent fifteen years as a practicing planner, which led to a twenty-three year career in GIS technology from mainframe GIS applications to advanced network and spatial GIS to the PC. He is currently President and CEO of Boundary Solutions, Inc., custodians of the National ParcelMap Data Portal (NPDP). His responsibilities include expansion of the NPDP until its coverage is seamless nationwide, providing industry a parcel boundary based location platform to support IT/GT operations.
