      Job Description:
Strategic Energy Innovations (SEI) is seeking a Project Coordinator to
support the Housing Energy Program for affordable housing in Southern
California, in addition to assisting with other housing-based energy
projects.  This is a full time position working typical office hours,
      Monday-Friday. Target start date is first week of December 2006;
applications must be submitted as soon as possible.

      ABOUT SEI
SEI is a small non-profit organization based in Marin County.  Through
funding from federal, state, city, and private organizations, SEI helps
communities, school districts and multifamily housing developments design
and implement energy efficiency and conservation programs.  We approach
energy savings from several different perspectives and on many levels.
Drawing from a broad range of practical knowledge, we create networks of
individuals and communities that are key to successful energy projects. Our
staff members work closely in a team-oriented environment supporting each
other on projects and creatively developing new opportunities.  We’re
looking for a resourceful individual to join our staff that enjoys
supporting multiple projects simultaneously and has the ambition to grow
with our organization.  For more information about SEI’s programs visit our
      website at www.seiinc.org

      ABOUT THE HOUSING ENERGY PROGRAM
Funded by the Southern California Edison company, The Housing Energy Program
is aimed at improving energy efficiency in the underserved affordable
housing market.  The program aggregates small- and medium-sized public and
assisted housing agencies into larger, more concentrated groups to
facilitate implementation of energy efficiency and demand reduction
strategies through the use of energy performance contracts and traditional
energy management services. In addition, the program conducts market
development for greenhouse gas reduction credits resulting from the
      installed energy efficiency retrofits.
