      Truckee River Project Manager
      Reno NV

The Nature Conservancy of Nevada seeks a highly motivated individual to
join the Truckee River Project as Project Manager.

The project is focused on a $43 million river restoration and land
acquisition portfolio from the river's headwaters in the Sierra Nevada to
its terminus in Pyramid Lake. The Project Manager works on the one hand at
a strategic and conceptual level, often in a negotiating context, and on
the other is task-oriented and able to oversee and generate a large volume
of high-quality work products to meet aggressive implementation schedules.

Ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, is
a team player, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks under
pressure with short deadlines, and works well with a wide range of people.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently with ambiguity, and
able to adjust priorities suddenly. The project's growth and expanding
scope of activity offers the Project Manager significant opportunities for
professional development and increasing levels of responsibility.
