      Entry Level Urban Designer - Landscape Architect


      Design, Community & Environment, an urban design and city planning firm in
      North Berkeley, is looking for entry level urban designers and landscape
      architects with 1 to 3 years of professional experience.



      With a staff of about 45, DC&E serves cities and counties throughout
      California.  DC&E's urban design work includes design guidelines,
      streetscape plans, downtown revitalization and Specific Plans.  Landscape
      architecture work includes park master planning, streetscape design, trail
      planning and stream restoration.  Depending on an individual's level of
      experience, activities include:

      ?  Production of graphic diagrams for DC&E projects

      ?  Hand drawing

      ?  Computer graphics

      ?  AutoCAD operation

      ?  Proposal and report writing

      ?  Conceptual design

      ?  Construction drawings



      Salary is commensurate with experience and level of ability.  We offer a

      Entry Level Comprehensive/Environmental Planner



      Design, Community & Environment, a comprehensive planning, urban design, and
      landscape architecture firm in North Berkeley, is looking for entry level
      comprehensive and environmental planners with 1 to 3 years of professional
      experience.



      With a staff of about 45, DC&E serves cities and counties throughout
      California. DC&E's comprehensive planning work includes community-wide
      General Plans, environmental review, transportation planning and community
      involvement.  Direct experience and interest in general planning and
      environmental review is desired.  Position responsibilities include:



      ?  Writing of General Plan, , environmental document , and transportation
      planning document sections as directed by management staff

      ?  Production of graphic diagrams for DC&E projects

      ?  GIS analysis and map production
