      Land Use / Urban Planning Assistant

      Progressive hospitality and entertainment development services company is
      seeking a full time Land-Use / Urban Planning Assistant.

      About The Company:

      EPG, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Principal Elizabeth Peterson (Elizabeth
      Peterson Group).  EPG represents high-end clients who are interested in
      urban infill development by expediting the land-use entitlement, city and
      state licensing, permitting, design, construction, lobbying, and community
      development and outreach processes.  EPG Inc., has been a leading force in
      the redevelopment of Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles.


      Job Overview:

      The Planning Assistant would write, manage, oversee and coordinate all
      facets of the application phase of the permitting process for specific
      projects.  They would perform initial and specific zoning analysis and
      property research.  They would also prepare and submit Land-Use applications
      and supporting documentation while maintaining complete and accurate
      documentation of all applicable planning and permitting procedures
      including, but not limited to:

      Ø      Conditional-Use Permit applications

      Ø      Plan Approval applications

      Ø      ABC License applications

      Ø      Police Permits

      Ø      Building & Safety Clearances

      Ø      Neighborhood Council & community outreach

      Ø      Maintaining strong and respectful working relationships with clients







      Qualifications:

      - Undergraduate or graduate degree in urban planning or other degree and/or
      experience in the development related field.

      - Demonstrated understanding of land-use planning principles through
      academic training and/or work experience.

      - Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

      - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own workload with
      little supervision under strict timelines.

      - Computer-literate with strong knowledge Word, Excel, File-Maker, Internet
      researching skills.
