      Exciting things are happening in downtown San José…

      Local residents are deciding how they want to improve their
      community. The City of San José, San José State University and
      partnering non-profits are listening. Working together, they will
      make the Five Wounds/Brookwood Terrace Neighborhood a better place
      to live, work and learn.

      Become an AmeriCorps*VISTA Member with CommUniverCity San José!

      CommUniverCity San José is a collaboration of community (the
      neighborhoods of Five Wounds/Brookwood Terrace), university (San
      José State) and the City of San José through the Strong
      Neighborhoods Initiative.

      If you want to learn more about collaborative projects involving
      issues of education, community health and neighborhood safety and
      like working with volunteers, this position is for you!
