MTC Job Announcements
Two MTC job announcements: One is for the Assistant/Associate Program Engineer position in the Bridge Oversight & Operations Section, the second position is the Call Box & Freeway Performance Program Coordinator under the Highway & Arterial Operations Section.
Assistant/Associate Program Engineer: This position includes providing technical, operational and management of programs related to the Bay Area Toll Authority’s (BATA’s) toll collection operations and activities, including the implementation of capital improvement projects, for the seven state-owned toll bridges in the Bay Area. This position closes at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 26, 2006
Call Box and Freeway Performance Program Coordinator: The person in this position will act as support staff for the management and operation of the Service Authority for Freeways and Expressways (SAFE) program, which includes the Call Box, Freeway Service Patrol and Incident Management Programs. Although there will be work efforts in the Freeway Service Patrol and Incident Management Program, the main responsibilities will be the management of the Call Box program. This position closes at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 3, 2006
