      Homebuyer education and housing counseling is a critical step to preparing a homeowner for what is often the biggest purchase of their life.  The first step to achieve the American dream of homeownership is through education, which is especially true in the Hispanic community.    

      In order to expand the pool of qualified bilingual professionals and overcome the lack of information about the homebuying process to Spanish-speaking communities, NeighborWorks® America and the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NCHEC) offer bilingual training courses at each NeighborWorks Training Institute.  The Spanish courses will increase knowledge for the practitioner while increasing capacity for the organization.

      At the NeighborWorks® Training Institute in Dallas, April 3-7, we are proud to present an unprecedented array of Spanish bilingual courses. The following affordable housing and homeownership and community lending are being offered in Dallas:
