      TITLE: Climate Change Policy Analyst

      The Center for Clean Air Policy is a non-profit environmental think-tank
      based in Washington, DC. The Center, with a budget of $3 million and a staff
      of approximately twenty, is a fast paced, dynamic organization managing
      multiple projects domestically and internationally. The Center is seeking a
      senior Climate Change Policy Analyst to play a leading role in its Domestic
      Program initiatives. These programs would include state and regional climate
      and air quality programs, the CCAP Climate and Air Quality Dialogue and
      others.

      CCAP is known for its analytical and consensus building leadership -
      "Dialogue, Insight and Solutions." We seek to add staff with the analytical,
      outreach and project management skills to serve our domestic and
      international agenda. We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree
      in public policy, economics or a related field and five years of related
      experience in analysis, policy development, client and fundraising outreach.
      The successful candidate will have a keen sense of the political and
      jurisdictional issues that are at the heart of finding consensus-based
      solutions.

      Candidate must have strong writing and analytical skills as well as
      political experience or networking skills. Candidate must have a good
      understanding of air quality, climate mitigation options and emissions
      trading. Candidate should have strong skills and experience in managing
      projects and people. Salary is commensurate with experience.

      CENTER FOR CLEAN AIR POLICY

      TITLE: Development Manager/ Associate

      The Center for Clean Air Policy is a non-profit environmental think-tank
      based in Washington, DC. The Center, with a budget of $3 million and a staff
      of approximately twenty, is a fast paced, dynamic organization managing
      multiple projects domestically and internally. The Center is seeking a
      Development Manager/ Associate to report to the Executive Vice President and
      to serve as the primary fundraising professional in the organization. (Title
      and level contingent on skill and experience.)

      This is a unique opportunity to build an effective foundations and major
      gifts fundraising program and develop career skills in the development and
      non-profit management arena. The Center is seeking individuals with work
      experience and interest in non-profit organizations who want to pursue a
      career in development and fundraising. Depending on the level of skill and
      experience of the candidate, The Center will provide mentoring, coaching and
      support in the development of skills and the supporting systems to do this
      job well.

      The Development Manager/ Associate's duties will include:

      - Developing and managing the overall fundraising program for project
      funding from foundations and government sources.

      - Assisting in the research and preparation of grant applications from
      corporations, foundations, and government agencies. Identify potential new
      sources of funding.

      - Reporting to and manage relationships with existing funders.

      - Initiating and managing a major gift program

      - Assist in The Center's communications function, including the development
      of contact and fundraising data base tools.

      - Assisting in the development and implementation of an annual marketing
      plan.

      - Work closely with Program staff in the development and management of donor
      sources.

      - Coordinating and working with consultants and other resources in marketing
      and communications

      Requirements:

      Minimum one-three years of related experience in a non-profit organization
      preferable one with a core of foundation, government and/ or major gift
      funding. (This is not a direct mail/ membership fundraising opportunity.)
      Candidate must have: strong organizational skills; the ability to balance
      multiple priorities/tasks; be self-motivated, and have excellent written and
      verbal communication skills. Experience with MS Office. Familiarity with
      fundraising software and related contact database applications a plus.
      Foreign Language skills are a plus.
