      The ACSP Global Planning Educators Interest Group
      (GPEIG) with thegenerous funding of the Consortium on
      Development Studies (CODS,www.cods-global.org) will
      support student travel to the ACSP Conferenceat
      Portland, Oregon. The objective of the Consortium on
      DevelopmentStudies (CODS) is “to create harmony among
      people, nature andtechnology. CODS is interested in
      improving the quality of lifethrough research, policy
      development and social action. It wants todevelop
      ideas and support activities for moving toward
      sustainable civilsocieties.” GPEIG will set up
      “GPEIG-CODS Student Travel Grant”Committee which will
      establish selection process and administer the
      awardselection. CODS will send the check to the
      recipients. Theannouncement of the Award will be made
      through ACSP, PLANET, Globeplanlistservs. The Grants
      will be awarded at the GPEIG (ACSP)meeting.

      Criteria

      Only graduate students enrolled at an ACSP member
      school during the2005-2006 year; presenting papers at
      the conference with a focus on aninternational
      development/global planning topic, and traveling more
      than100 miles are eligible to apply.
