Two opportunities here:  If your firm is interested in participating in the job fair, contact me at the above email address and I'll fax you the information packet.  If you're looking for a job, follow the instructions for "Jobseeker."  In either case, please join us for this special event.  Kaye Bock

                                                          CED JOB FAIR 2002

UC Berkeley campus, Pauley Ballroom in the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center.  (Located at the intersection of Telegraph Ave. and Bancroft Ave.)

                                                         WHO WILL BE THERE

The leading planning, architecture, transportation engineering, environmental, public policy, and development consulting firms and organizations will host presentations about open positions and conduct informational interviews.  A partial listing of the firms includes Calthorpe Associates, MIG, Hart-Howerton, SWA, Dyett & Bhatia Urban and Regional Planners, and Economic Research Associates.  Watch the website for additions.

Things to do before the Job Fair:

First, visit the website above, click on the “Job Seeker” prompt, click on the “Register” prompt, and create an online profile of your educational and professional experience that firms can review before the job fair.

Second, visit the website above and review the firms that are participating and the jobs that are being offered.  Visit the website frequently as more firms sign up each day.

Third, update your resume and bring many copies with you. (Resume assistance is available from the Career Center website: http://career.berkeley.edu/Guide/Resume.stm)

The Job Fair is open to the public, is free for UC Berkeley students with Cal Student I.D, and costs $5.00 for everybody else.   If you have questions, contact Kaye Bock at (510) 643-9440 or kbock@...
