The Web is becoming an increasingly important medium for planners as is GIS.
Next Thursday morning, April 18, the Bay Area Automated Mapping Association
(BAAMA) will be presenting a very informative program on the topic "GIS and
the Web" with presentations and demonstrations by may innovators from our
region. The cost is only $10 for this meeting (which includes drinks and
snacks) or $20 to join for a year. This event is at the Shattuck Hotel in
downtown Berkeley near the BART station. Details are available at:
      www.baama.org
