      Come and hear Rebecca Hill and Joy Glasier, recent recipients of the  Scott Traveling Fellowship, present their research on Monday, March 14th.  Awarded by the Department of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, the Scott Traveling Fellowship is given  to outstanding graduates for significant post-graduate travel abroad.  Rebecca Hill (MLA '03) is currently at the design firm, Hargreaves Associates, based in New York City.  The title of her Scott presentation is, "Ideology Meets Design: Neighborhood Planning in the Former Eastern Bloc."  Joy Glasier (MLA '03) will be presenting her research, "Can Density be Desirable?  Exploring International Examples of Dense Livable Housing Developments."  The presentations will held 6 - 8pm in 315C Wurster Hall, UC Berkeley. Refreshments will be provided.
