Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority provides 44.3 million passenger
trips yearly and is an essential service for people to get to and from
work, shopping, family, and activities.
· Gov. Schwarzenegger's 2005
proposal will cut more than $6.6 million from the local Santa Clara
Valley Transit Authority budget.
· It will rob the Bay Area of $118 million for Traffic Congestion Relief Program.
· The 2004 budget already decimated service! We can't afford MORE REDUCTIONS in service!
