Subject: Spare The Air Advisory
Tomorrow, Tuesday September 7, is a Spare The Air Day in the San Francisco
Bay Area. Ground-level ozone air pollution is forecast to exceed 100 AQI
(Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups) tomorrow.
Manana es un dia "Spare the Air." Por favor, maneje su carro lo menos
MTC, the Air District and BART are offering free morning commutes on this
"Spare the Air" weekday! Enter a BART station between the start of service
between 4:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and ride for free!
People are being asked to:
- Eliminate vehicle trips
- Use public transit whenever possible
- Postpone errands and link necessary trips
