      The Power of Maps

      This workshop will enable participants to explore the world of digital maps and GIS as indispensable problem-solving tools. Through map displays, videos, discussion, and hands-on experimentation with ArcGIS Online, participants will experience the power of maps first-hand. Attendees from all academic and professional backgrounds are encouraged to attend. The workshop will led by Rick Kos, AICP of the SJSU Urban and Regional Planning Department. Mr. Kos is a GIS instructor and consultant with two decades of experience using GIS for urban planning analysis.

      - When: Tue Dec 7 at 7pm – 8:30pm Pacific Time
      - Where: Washington Square Hall, room 208, San Jose State University.
      - No admission charge. Open to the public.

      This event is being put on by the Urban Planning Coalition (UPC). The UPC is the official student planning organization of San Jose State University.
