BUILDING BREAKTHROUGH COMMUNITIES, Climate Change, Housing and Transportation in California
The fight against global warming presents new opportunities to create healthy, socially just, and sustainable multi-racial communities throughout the State. Carl Anthony and Paloma Pavel will present about their current work and opportunities for equity and justice in housing and land use issues. The book details several case studies in Detroit, New York City, San Francisco, New Orleans, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, to address such problems as vacant property, brownfields, affordable housing, accessible transportation, and more.
