      Michael and Anthony (and any other observers),

      Assuming I saw the same bird first seen by Mike last week, I wanted to find out and confirm your observations. 
      Anthony wrote yesterday that he believed the bird to be an adult. 
      I think that lighting was much better during his viewing than mine (overcast today), plus the view from 250+ yds, but despite the appearance of zero mottling, the bill -- 1/2 to 1/3 of it --appeared dark toward the tip. 
      This would indicate a 3rd year bird. 

      Just curious about your observations and how, specifically, Anthony decided on 'adult' id.
