      9/6 Great Kills
This morning there was agregation of Common Terns, Laughing, Herring and Ring-billed Gulls, and Double-creasted Cormorants off Crook's Point on the ocean side. Maybe about 1,000 to 2,000 individuals all diving and flying . There may have been more species but there was a bright back light making it hard to see. I got there about 8 AM and the flock had moved on by 8:30 AM.  The large Tree Swallow flock (1,000+) reported earlier this week was around the bayberry shrubs  near the bath house. High tide at Great Killls Harbor was 9:30 AM.

9/5 Late report for Goethals Bridge Pond from the DEC overlook.

      Great Egret  5

      Greater Yellowlegs 5
      Least Sandpiper 6

9/5 Late report for Neck Creek
