Its back! Begin the New Year in top vegan form at Opera Plaza, Wed. the 11th at 6 pm. Dinner and Dr. Greger! Enjoy a fabulous vegan dinner prepared with skill by Patricia Allen Koot, NC, certified Nutrition Consultant, freshly back from winter break. Totally vegan, totally health supporting, made without dairy, eggs or honey and prepared without oil or added sugars. Buffet style, all you can eat, and bring a container to take some home!

After dinner, enjoy a top-caliber presentation by one of America's leading experts on vegan nutrition, Dr. Michael Greger, M.D. Entitled 'Latest in Clinical Nutrition' vol. 5, Dr. Greger reviews via video the latest cutting-edge science in vegan nutrition, including 44 topics: the antioxidant content of over 3,000 foods; what is your healthy eating score; vegan ways to increase physical attractiveness; improving mood through diet; unholy guacamole; and many more topics.

Dr. Greger is a founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, physician, author and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety and public health issues. He has lectured at the Conference on World Affairs and the National Institutes of Health, testified before Congress, and was an expert witness in defense of Oprah Winfrey in the infamous 'meat defamation' trial.

It all happens this Wed. evening, Jan. 11 at 6 pm, at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness, San Francisco. Take the elevator to the first floor, then security will key you down to the mezzanine for the event.

A fifteen dollar requested donation covers the all you can eat dinner plus the presentation. This is possible because the chef volunteers her time. Funds go toward facility rental, food, transport and related costs.
