CURING DIABETES THRU VEGAN DIET! Wed. the 14th at 6 pm
- This coming Wed. evening, Sept. 14 at 6 pm, at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness, San Francisco, come hear two heavyweights in the field of vegan health, Dr. Neal Barnard and Dr. Gabriel Cousens, explain in detail how a properly planned vegan diet can reverse diabetes and blood sugar regulation problems. This presentation via video is packed with information and will give direction on how to actually make it work.
Before the presentation, enjoy a special vegan dinner which will showcase the diabetes-fighting features discussed in the presentation. Prepared by a skilled vegan nutrition consultant, Patricia Allen Koot, NC, this dinner is totally vegan, made without eggs, dairy or honey, and totally health-supporting. It is prepared without oil or added sugars.
This is a full-course dinner. It is specially designed to meet the needs of a high-stress urban environment. The dinner is all you can eat, as long as the food lasts. And bring a container to take some home with you for the rest of the week. Watch for the menu to be posted on Tuesday morning.
SPECIAL FEATURE: ORANGE CAKES!
ORANGE pound cakes! Organic, vegan, gluten, soy and nut-free, they are DELICIOUS. With the distinctive flavor of California oranges, these vegan pound cakes are irresistible. If you liked the chocolate pound cakes Patricia has brought, you will love these orange cakes. They are available at the low price of $3.00 for one or two for $5.00. Let Patricia know how many you want, and she will have them for you at the dinner this Wed.
It all happens this Wed. evening, Sept. 14 at 6 pm at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness St., San Francisco. Take the elevator to the first floor, then security will key you down to the mezzanine for the event.
A fifteen dollar requested minimum donation covers the all you can eat vegan dinner AND the presentation on curing diabetes through vegan diet. This is possible because the chef volunteers her time. Funds go toward facility rental, food, transport and related costs.
RSVP to 707-774-1904 or email to: archierieus@.... Be sure to mention how many orange pound cakes you would like.
