- People can
do the entire walk, or just part of it as they wish. It is fine to just walk
for one mile! Walk in your town!
Call (650) 383-8480 on 9/11 to get an update for the walkers current location.
- A free Vegetarian lunch will be generously provided at 12:30pm at Chung Tai Zen Center. Let us know that you would like to be included for lunch by checking the appropriate box when you register for the walk on the FirstGiving website.
- It will be a time for practice, mindful walking, spreading loving kindness, making spiritual friends, and exercise. It will be a pilgrimage of harmony amongst many as we visit locations of such meditation groups as: Chung Tai Zen Center, San Jose Insight Meditation Sangha, San Jose Dharma Punx, Floating Zendo, and Buddhi Vihara. The walk will end at The Sarah Wallis Park in Palo Alto which is near public transportation. Sarah Wallis once lived there and was a pioneer who championed women's rights. BGR also sees the need to help educate and support women with its programs.

- Everyone is invited. One can donate or just do the walk, or both! Registration (before 9/8/2011) is required for any portion of the walk.
