What a change! A HEALTHY New Year's dinner! Start this new year, and new decade, with a bang, and a toast to good health! This Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m., at the Red Victorian, 1665 Haight St., San Francisco, enjoy a true gourmet vegan dinner, expertly prepared by Patricia Allen Koot, certified Vegan Nutrition Educator. The special emphasis for this dinner will be to inaugurate a GREEN 2010, punctuating the new year with veggies from A to Z, from arugula to zucchini in the menu. As always, the dinner is all you can eat.

After dinner, enjoy a superb presentation by Communication and executive coach, activist and author Josephine Bellaccomo. Josephine welcomes you to the new year with a practical workshop to build public speaking skills, designed for everyone who feels uneasy speaking in front of groups.

This Wednesday night, she will lead you in "Moving Your Message with Power and Confidence," sharing practical, winning techniques to help you appear (and feel!) comfortable and confident.

She has coached over 1,000 C-level to entry-level corporate citizens and activists, and her book, Move the Message: Your Guide to Making a Difference and Changing the World will be available for signing. This 384-page guidebook was designed for activists and community organizers needing to communicate persuasively to people with power.

      About Move the Message:

Many of us - without the money to contract special media consultants or expensive public relations firms - want to create change in the world, but find communicating our vision difficult, whether our audience is one individual, small groups, large audiences, or the media.
Take action and empower others to act with this strategic approach. Target your message to the appropriate power holders. Design and pitch a compelling, persuasive presentation with visual impact. Field questions and comments to energize your audience to take action and move the message to others. With confidence, negotiate for progressive outcomes, construct captivating soundbites to the media, deflect personal attacks, and take the message to the streets to get winning results.

In Move the Message, author Josephine Bellaccomo delivers a step-by-step process, complete with tips, tactics, strategies, examples and exercises, to ensure that your message is focused, powerful and unstoppable.

Whether the difference you want to make is local or global, Move the Message is an essential guide for activists and concerned individuals working to create lasting change, and is sure to become a classic in the field.

As you can see, this will be a very special evening. And all this for the unbelievably low cost to you, of $10.00 minimum donation, which covers the gourmet dinner and the outstanding presentation.
