Money, Myths and Madness, Wed. Sept. 11 at 6 pm, plus Vegan Dinner
- This coming Wed., Sept. 11, 2013, at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness, San Francisco, enjoy a special presentation by a financial professional. Rich Friesen will lecture on, "Money, Myths and Madness."
Mr. Friesen is an innovator of trader training systems, financial software design and development, and intellectual property creation and management.
He started his consulting firm after founding and building ePIT Systems, a software company that produced exchange software solutions for financial institutions. As an innovator in electronic exchanges, he has received seven significant patents on electronic trading interfaces.
Prior to ePIT Systems, Mr. Friesen founded, built and sold Trade Management LLC, an options and equity trading firm. As a member of the Pacific Exchange, he also served as Exchange Director. In addition to leading new product development for regulated exchanges, Rich designed trader training programs for independent training organizations. He has traded grains on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade and futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Rich holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology along with certification in Gestalt Therapy and Neurolinguistic Programing. Mr. Friesen, past President of Marin Toastmasters is a popular and engaging speaker on topics of politics, behavioral finance, and business and personal development.

A fifteen dollar requested donation covers the all you can eat vegan dinner plus the lecture on money, myths and madness. The nutritionist and the presenter are donating their time. Funds go toward facility rental, food, transport and other costs.
