This is a Natural Hygiene dinner, and it is all vegan, all health-supporting and all you can eat. Planned by a certified Nutrition Consultant, Patricia Allen Koot, NE, NC, it is designed around optimal nutrition for a hectic urban lifestyle.
After dinner, enjoy an informative lecture by an expert on nutrition with decades of experience. Professor Emeritus John Bardaro of the City College of San Francisco will speak about the Natural Hygiene Diet.
Here is a description of the Natural Hygiene Diet:
"Natural Hygiene stands apart from other vegetarian, vegan, and natural food diets in that it recommends that you eat a large portion of your diet uncooked, use a minimum of spices, salt, and other stimulants, and center your diet around fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts. The dietary recommendations emphasize foods in their natural state to maximize the full symphony of nature's fragile micronutrients and phytochemicals."
Professor Bardaro has taught the Natural Hygiene diet to tens of thousands of students. On the phone, he told me that he will present everything that is needed for optimal health. But more than that. Expect an evening that is entertaining as well as informative.
It all happens this Wed. evening, May 8 at 6 pm, at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness, San Francisco. Take the elevator to the first floor, then security will key you down to the mezzanine for the event.
A fifteen dollar requested donation covers the all you can eat Natural Hygiene dinner AND the lecture. The Nutritionist and the Professor both are donating their time. Funds go toward facility rental, food, transport and other costs.
