      Advanced Vegan Cheese, Sunday, May 5, Noon – 4 p.m.

      San Anselmo (Address & Directions will be given upon registering)

      Instructor: Miyoko Schinner, author of Artisan Vegan Cheese

      Price: $95 per person; $190 per couple.

      SFVS members pay online and receive 10% discount refund in class with their membership card.

      Class will explore how to create hard, sliceable cheeses that age and improve over time.  Learn different methods for preserving and adding extra depth to your cheeses from brining to wrapping your cheese in different types of leaves.  Techniques and cheeses that are not in Artisan Vegan Cheese will be explored, as well as some of the more difficult cheeses from the book (such as Gouda).
