The only free spring water is 2 hours away, just before Middletown, which is
in Lakeport County.
It's the same water Calistoga Waters get.
this list is primary SF based Living Foods Group,
since we live in the City, we buy a filtering system to put on our facet to
get our water.
Some of us have no car, live in a small apartment with NO garden, if we do
have a garden there's very little sunshine in SF.
So I hope you get the point.
Your best resource is the East Bay Organic/Permaculture Community. In
Berkeley there's many like minded people like you.
Too bad you don't live in Berkeley, Berkeley Bowl which is HUGE store that,
Good luck with searching for new friends and contact
since most of us in SF don't have an organic garden, we don't have any
produce to share....
There are gardens,,, in East Bay..
if there's plenty of veggie and organic farming groups in BErkeley I will go
overall, the organic farming groups is a better connection for you I think
this is one of two raw places to go eat...
Cafe gratitude is another one
this list mostly focus on Living Foods related matter, mostly in SF
at times we post special events like Raw Health Expo coming up in Santa
I heard Batul the General Manager from Cafe Gratitude-Healdsburg will be
speaking on Sat at 4pm..
plus Cafe Gratitude will be selling prepared food.
There will be vendors selling all sorts of stuff, from granola, kale chips
etc.. ( subject to change)
I can't wait to the see the final schedule!

Subject: [SFLivingFoods] Spring water
Hello SF group!
I just moved to the east bay from Indiana almost two months ago. I had just
began going out to find my own spring water a few months before my departure
and FINALLY felt hydrated after a year on reverse osmosis.
I have a small pick up truck I bought so my friends and I could gather
spring water and good soil this summer with out having to go back as often.
the drive was an hour but it was beautiful and worth it, of course!
I live in Richmond right now and I am offering to help others gather spring
water in bulk quantities. perhaps you want spring water but have no way to
gather? maybe I can take your jugs and fill them? perhaps we can pitch in on
gas? lets collaborate...
As of now, I do not know where any springs are in the bay area so if anyone
could pass along any info I am so grateful!
I am also about to begin my job search, before leaving Indiana I was
preparing food with other aspirants and teaching them what I have learned
during my journey, while also employed at a small, local natural food store.
If anyone happens to be aware of a place hiring, which is also a great place
to work being a raw foodie I would be so happy to know.
I will of course do my own research but any good contact/networking info
would be much appreciated. Thanks and see you around!
