The market opens every Sat morning around 9am.
During the month of September, SF Veg Society will have a booth there to do outreach on the World Veg Day On Oct 4. (in the planning stages)
This farmer's market has a "Chef at the Market" that means you can showcase your recipe and provide 500 free samples for Market attendees.
This is a great way to introduce folks to veggie foods.
I think maybe you can ask for free vegetables for your demo, I'm not sure. People will go crazy over a wonderful Kale Salad.

Our vegetarian friends, Donna's Tamales have a booth there. Currently business is slow, so swing by to say hi. By the way they are giving out FREE samples at farmer's markets and at the World Veg Day.
The ownerS of Donna's Tamales are vegetarian, way over 10 years.
