Slide Ranch could still use volunteers at their harvest celebration. There
are carpooling options available if needed, too. Please email or call Annie
if you can go. Goats and crafts and kids and food (and the ocean!).

Many thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in volunteering for
Celebration on* *Saturday, October 14*! I look forward to seeing you here.
I know some of you were still tentative about whether you could make it, so
please let me know if you find out for sure that you can come or have any
questions about it. We still need more volunteers, so please feel free to
pass the info on to other friends and interested folk. More information
about the event and volunteering is included at the end of this email.
If you haven't already, please let me know if you have any time
restrictions or preferences as to when you volunteer or what activity you
do. The slots are 10am-1pm & 1-4pm and we have slots available to help with
arts & crafts, the food booth, parking, & face-painting. Also, please let
me know if you have any experience with farm animals and interest in being
stationed with our goats and sheep or chickens, as we are low on staff for
overseeing those areas. Also, if you have experience carding and spinning
wool and would like to help kids with that, please let me know.
If you have already given me shift preferences, I will be getting back to
you soon with more details.
Thanks so much!
I hope everyone is enjoying the autumn season.
P.S. Some people have inquired about carpooling, so if you either can give
a ride or need a ride, let me know and I will try to put folks in touch with
