Just a quick reminder that paper and presentation submissions for the Southeast Evaluation Association (SEA) Annual Conference are due Wednesday, November 23, 2005. The conference will be held in Tallahassee , FL on Feb 2-3, 2006. The original email announcement is below.
Please see the attached brochure for instructions on submittals. We welcome a variety of formats, such as individual paper presentations, panels or roundtables on evaluation issues, and mini-workshops on evaluation skills. We hope you will share your work and expertise.
AEA members in FL, GA, AL, SC and NC
The Southeast Evaluation Association will be holding its annual conference ("Designing Evaluations: Fully Loaded") February 2-3, 2006 in Tallahassee . The program will feature Dr. Laura Langbein, Professor of Public Affairs at American University , who is an expert on quantitative methods in evaluation and the integration of research design and data analysis to maximize the value of evaluation studies. The conference will be held at the Leon County Civic Center near downtown in Tallahassee .
In addition to serving as the conference keynote speaker, Dr. Langbein also will present a pre-conference workshop on Wednesday, February 1, 2006: "Designing Evaluations: Using Quantitative Methods and Research Designs Effectively." The Workshop will be held from 8:30-noon and 1:00-4:30 at the Park Plaza Hotel (formerly the Radisson Hotel) on Monroe Street .
We hope you will attend - and consider doing a presentation, panel or symposium. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, November 23, 2005. (See "Call for Proposals" on attached brochure.)
Please note that the conference will be an excellent training opportunity for graduate students who receive a special low rate for both the pre-conference workshop and the conference ($25 each).
The attached brochure provides information about conference registration. Discounted pre-registration rates are effective through January 20, 2006.
