      About the Conference

      The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County and the Tampa Housing Authority invite you to join your colleagues at this conference of local governments, community organizations, faith-based organizations, realtors, lenders, public housing authorities, and others from throughout our twelve county jurisdiction. The conference will highlight important information about HUD’s Logic Model and many of our major programs (multifamily housing; FHA mortgages; Section 8 homeownership; community development block grants; HOME; mixed finance development, emergency shelter grants; selling HUD homes; HOPWA and others). Presentations on new HUD initiatives including the American Dream Down Payment Initiative, Affordable Communities Initiative, 10 year Homelessness Initiative and updates on our Faith Based and Community Organization Initiative are included. In addition, HUD is taking this opportunity to solicit feedback from you, our partners, about your needs for federal assistance in the coming year.
