this certainly piques my curiosity. I will call you. Many other people on this list participated in the forum and have a longstanding interest in this issue.

      Susan -

I don't think I want to have this conversation with you in this open forum. I'm afraid I've unintentionally led us to this point, when all I meant to do with my comments about Deanne was respond to Alvin.

Call me if you want to pursue this. My work number is 673-4646. ext 285.

      Brian

Then, please suggest to her that there is a team of researchers at USF who have much to offer this effort, and we were pointedly not asked. We held meetings all fall and winter to talk about the relocation/redevelopment, and we staged a very successful community forum in February that drew a wide audience with many thoughtful ideas.

Remember my friend Deanne Roberts, who I suggested a couple of years ago
might be a good contact in the business community for anthropologists to
contact, back before the Civitas meltdown?
Deanne sent me her highly optimistic version of this project the day
before the Tribune article came out. Her communications company has had
something to do with the development of this project.

Are some of you following the developments re Central Park Village? I
am sure the Tribune's editorial view is overly optimistic.

Are we pursuing social impact assessment?
