classes (and wormwood)

(You see, I finally arrived on the list. Had to e-mail to onelist and have them add me by hand.)
Meantime, bear with me while I figure out how to use AOLs web interface -- I set it up so I could access this list from work, but so far it's been uphill.
Who mentioned wormwood? I used to have "beach wormwood" (an artemisia) that made great insect-repellent sachet. Unfortunately, one wet winter, it died. Have been trying to replace it ever since.
As for classes -- I think most of us do most of our learning from books, and would welcome hands-on classes in making almost anything!
