      Greetings to everyone,

I've always been into Renaissance things and enjoyed very much the
allure of the SCA and Fairs. But never fully invovled myself with in
any of them, always skirting the edges. Part of which is herbalisim.
Forever I have always been into plants, growing things, healing arts
from herbs and such, and the lore attached to the history of
      plants.

Well I am looking to get more involved now. In the SCA I would like
to devolpe my persona and what history I would like to explore. I'm
also getting more invovled with the local Kingdom in my area and
hoping to meet others in the up comming events.

I live in the Kingdom of Calontir currently but tend to move around
often. Which makes me somewhat of a gypsy. *grin*

Hoping to get to know some of you here, learn and enjoy the
      discussions.

      Blessed Be

Greetings Raven and boy are you in luck!  I have every Herbal Quarterly Magazine ever published.  I like them because they have tons of historical info.  I was making an inventory of articles for my students here in the West and noticed at least 3 articles on Gypsys and Herbs...( I also have accurate articles on period things like Astrological herbalism which goes with Gypsys.  I am preparing for a Principality Investiture this next week, but after that I can make copies and mail them to you.  So if you can send me your address (aricia@...) I will mail them out within two weeks.

          Aricia -

Would it be too much of an imposition to ask you to post a list of the articles you mention above?  They sound fascinating and I'd love to track some down.

          Many thanks -
