Sort of off topic however I wanted to let folks know these existed.
We've had some young and new sewers who sometimes wander in wanting to know
how to and where to etc. I just finished watching a 1/2 hour show on one of
the public stations in the NJ area. It's called "Sew Young, Sew Fun" and
it's put on by two teenage girls who did a *wonderful* job covering
everything from parts of the machine to gadgets and "community projects"
that are quick and easy to do for others like soft caps for cancer patients.
They have a website that I wanted to pass along for those of you with link
and there is also
I've always thought sewing was a great thing for me as a teen and I know
many of you probably felt the same. I'll also be posting some new projects
on the company's site that are aimed at kids sewing. More clothing "kits"
and some easy sew hand puppet kits for kids to learn to hand sew.
Pass on the sites....it's never to early to get the next generation started!
