big three has something you can adapt. Upside to Margo's, like Kass'
patterns (Reconstructing History), you can ask her questions if you have
problems. Kass may have something like the Venetian pants as she has added
some new patterns since last I really looked through them all. As for
accuracy, unless a person has Medieval or Renaissance examples of the
garment and even better multiples of the garment you are not going to get
100% accuracy. Both ladies above have done research on their patterns so as
far as I know the patterns are as accurate as their research can make them.
I am search of a period accurate (between 1450-1550) pants pattern for a
mens venetian pants. I have a gentleman friend who would like a pair to
fight Rapier in. I have looked at "costuming" patterns at fabric stores, and
would not purchase a costuming pattern unless i knew 100% the accuracy or
