A couple years ago fur throws were popular around Christmas...I bought two
lynx-look ones for half-price (about $12 each--a bit steep I thought at the
time, but fur by-the-yard is about the same--and not as realistic looking)
The intended use was for Tudor turnback oversleeves..but haven`t gotten around
to making that gown yet.
Some outlets (like TJ Maxx, Marshall`s) still have a few..
Most of the Jo-Ann faux furs are what I call "shaggy" instead of furry ;kind of
disappointing..the cheapest real-looking faux fur was found at Walmart, faux
