  • This popped up on one of the IRC links I watch...incredible little automaton! http://scalemodel.net/Gallery/BowShootingBoy.aspx There seems to be a kit available to build one, but I haven't found it yet. • Merry, thanks for the score sheet, it looks good. I try to shoot at least one when I can get to the range, but since I have no one to witness the score, I don't bother to report them. But this will at least give me an idea how I'm doing! Felix G. ____________________________________________________________ Click here for financial aid options. Quick and Easy. http...

  • I have a Viper Internature Longbow (says so right on the limb) 45 lb. A friend found it in a damaged freight surplus store still wrapped in shipping plastic and when I asked to borrow his, he gave me this one. I LOVE this bow! I took it to the local range to practice and learn its character, and the first arrow went into the gold! (the rest didn't but came close). I have had great...

  • I have a Viper Internature Longbow (says so on the limb - wierd name} 45 lb. bow that a friend found new in a recovered freight salvage store and gave me. I've never shot any other longbow, but I LOVE this one. Using it, I got into the semifinals of the 100 arrow shoot at Lilies War twice, against some of the best longbow archers in Calontir and visitors from other Kingdoms. It has...

  • Speaking of focus, I had something wierd happen at a tourney a while back, and I thought I'd ask if anyone else has had it happen. I was shooting at some smallish dots at about 20 yds, and concentrating very hard on them. Suddenly, "I" wasn't in control, "I" was just watching while something else drew, shot and reloaded 3 times, scored perfect hits too, then fumbled nocking on the...

  • I tried doing that with one of Kassai's very early Hun bows (early model, he's fixed the heat problem now) but the bow was too badly damaged. I hadn't thought to try that with the Soverign Knight - I left it strung under a sun fly, and when I came back the sun had moved and the lower limb was in the light on a very warm day. When I tried to shoot it later, the string jumped off...
