      The standards are wood shaft(compressed, footed, split bambo) are all good.
      Fletching is feather or period (bolts for crossbows sometimes use paper or
      leather). Any nock, any point (that will not hurt a target). Plastic or
      self nocks are ok, fieldtips are fine. Broad heads and most botkin points
      are out. Get with a local archer to get started. If you plan to shoot
      IKAC they have class restrictions. See:
