The Dragon Archery Net will be sold at a silent auction at the Simple Day event hosted by the Barony of Sternfeld (Middle Kingdom) on July 14th.  Proceeds will go towards purchasing a new archery net for the Sternfeld Archers.

    The Miracle of the Dragon

By Forrester Bran vo Lough Derg

Some say that in the spring of A.S. 45 many strange and wondrous events began to occur in the fair Barony of Sternfeld, particularly to the hardy band of archers that resides therein. While I was not a witness to many of these happenings, I will try to give a fair accounting of these astounding events.

In one evening of archery practice, no less than 5 archers, through great shooting, broke the nocks of their own arrows in the bull.

During a Simple Day in the Country, a one armed Archer challenged all to a contest of ranged skill, and defeated all comers but one.

The cavern that these hardy archers practice their art during the dark and cold months of winter was markedly warmer, enough so that instead of the usual multiple layers required for warmth, a single layer sufficed.

Early in the year of A.S. 46, a band of unknown archers from the barony of Sternfeld did win the day, convincingly, at the tournament known as Better War through Archery.

This recounting of events brings us full cycle into this new year but is incomplete.
While rehanging the old archery net, a change was noticed.  LO !! the dragon that lives in their hearts had left his visage upon the one true net !!!  Being a skeptic to such claims of wonder, I thought that it was merely a trick of the sometimes fickle light or perhaps like an outcropping of rock that the locals will tell you that if you stand in a certain place and look
just so at this time of day you will see the namesake of their borough.  No !! Let me assure you that this is not the case, but it is indeed the dragon that graces The One True Net that hangs in the Barony of Sternfeld.
