B500 may be used as a direct replacement for B50. B55 is a newer recipe that may be used in the same applications as B50 and B500. B55 is supposed to have less stretch than the other materials.

Does anyone have any experience with BCY B55 string materials? I'm looking for a string material that comes in a broader color selection than Brownell's B50 but will not destroy bows like other types of string material will do. Any suggestions?
