- This weekend is the EK Archery championship tourney.? It will be held in Manalapan, NJ and there is camping space available.? Here is the event announcement:

Hail to the finest archers of the Known Worlde.? Once again it is time to see who will be deemed the best of the best.? Aye matey that's right.? From the devilsih mind that brings you the Ghost, Ghouls, and Goblins archery shoot comes the Kings and Queens Archery Championship.? So come out to face the challenges of timed ends, friend foe shoots, moving targets, and other evil machinations.? This promises to be an interesting and challenging shoot for all who participate.
Along with the archery championship there will be a prize heavy weapons tourney on Saturday 6/21/08 led by Baron Berach MacTavish and a prize fencing tourney led by Lady Richild la Gaucher.? Thrown weapons will also be there to participate in.? So no matter if you are a fighter or a fencer, come out to test your skills.
On Saturday for those wee tots who like to have fun there will be a couple of children's activities scheduled during the day.? In addition, her Majesty Brenwen the Faire will be hosting a children's tea.? If your child is planning on participating in the children's tea, please indicate so when you submit your reservations for the event.? This event will have a Toys For Tots donation bin at Troll.?
Also on Saturday there will be an Arts & Sciences competition.? The theme will be archery and pirates.? An extended day board shall be provided by Baroness Juliana von Atenfeld.
On Sunday (cost not included in site fee) there will be a fee for breakfast.? The money raised from this breakfast shall go towards rebuilding Carillion's trailer for Pennsic.?
From the North and South find your best route to the New Jersey Turnpike (Interstate 95 - a toll will apply.).? Take exit 8 (Hightstown/Freehold) Route 33 - bear right onto Route 33 East for 6.2 miles.? Make a left turn using the jug handle to cross over Route 33 onto County Route 527A for .04 miles.? Turn right onto Le Valley Drive.
From the West, find your best route to Route 33 Westbound.? Turn right on Route 527A after the Mobil station (sign posted on traffic light at intersection says 527/Iron Ore Road) for .04 miles.? Turn right on to La Valley Drive.

Site : Day fee plus day board shall be $10 per adult and $6 per child.? Babes in arms up to age of three are free.
Camping fees:? Tent camping is $5 per adult and $3 per child plus the site fee and Cabin camping is $10 per adult and $8 per child plus the site fee.? If you are staying in the cabin you will need to provide something to put onto the bed springs to sleep on.? Space is very limited in the cabin, pre-registration is highly recommended.

The non-member fee of $3 per person shall apply as well.?
