Hi, Kaz - sorry if this seems like a late question, but I'm way
behind on the archery list. I have a quick question for you -
when you're stripping shafts, does your draw plate have multiple
holes? If so, how big are the steps between them? 1/32, 1/16?
I've done a couple of shafts using a sort of scraper, made by
punching 1/2 circles in the edge of a plate, then drawing out a
lip, like on a cabinet scraper. This works, but takes a while.
Of course, I was using ash, not softwood. Well - any hints you can
give me, I would greatly appreciate.
