His Highness Dag Thorgrimsson and Her Highness Elayna Lilley
of the glorious Middle Kingdom do wish to measure
the skills of their Combat Siege Engineers in preparation
of their coming war. They have asked the Barony of Fenix
to host a competition this June 17th at the Fenix Pheon
      Festival.

The day will include a competition for all Midrealm
combat ready siege weapons , a competition for non-combat
engines and "play" time for everyone including out of
kingdom weapons. ( "Real" ballistas can bring their own
targets. Everyone should bring some empty plastic milk
      jugs. )

The specific rules for the Combat and Non-combat engine
competitions are still being ironed out.
      Updates will follow.

Ideas and suggestions will be accepted and considered

Those Engineers wishing to compete should direct their
intentions to attend or any questions to:

      Serjeant Conal O'hAirt ( ohairt@... )
