- SWORD ATTACK MINSTREL GETS TWO YEARS
Self-styled "Robin Hood's minstrel" Edward McDonald - well know
[sic] for serenading tourists at Nottingham Castle - was jailed for
two years today for attacking his landlord with a 4ft [=3Dfour-foot
long - about 120 cm] broadsword.
An earlier trial at Nottingham Crown Court heard that "Count" Edward
McDonald, as he also calls himself, lashed out at Frederick
Ockelford during a row over rent, cutting his scalp to the bone and
breaking an arm.
He was convicted by a Nottingham Crown Court jury in May of
unlawfully wounding Mr Ockleford.
I didn't do it...
Nobody saw me do it...
They can't prove ANYTHING
Detharlion of Nottingham...
