RE: (SACC-L) Hi Barbara
what a treat to hear from you! I will keep good thoughts for you and the
potential at Temple--what a fine place in which to teach.
I'm doing well--except for a 5 week battle with the flu, I can't complain. I had
many plans for our six week intercession--in which I did not teach, but spent
most of it flat in bed trying to breathe, or dragging through the day, so that
was disappointing. But, guess what? All the work stayed right where I'd left
Hope spring finds you soon--sounds like the ground hog did you in this winter.
Let me know how things go for you--you're a brilliant teacher and Temple would
be fortunate to have you on their faculty.

Subject: [SACC-L] Hi Barbara
I just want to say hi and that I hope you are well. I remember
at WLA fondly! I'm in Philadelphia at Temple for a year and hope,
Lisa LeCount to transfer it into a real position.
Hope you are well,
best wishes, Leila Monaghan

- sorry to hear about the flu, not fun to have your entire break taken away
from you like that.
it has been a kind of shock to the system to be back in the cold, but it
has also been nice to see the seasons around here. They have been
absolutely on schedule. Leaves started turning day after fall started and
it snowed the day after winter solstice!!!
also has been nice to be so near my family so it has been a good move
all around, will now just have to see what happens!
enjoy your CA sunshine (if not your threats of rolling blackouts!)
all the best, L.
