Back to the future
- Ran across this quote from the Newburg Daily Journal, from a commentator
who seems to have been a kind of Dave Barry of that period:
[in 100 years from now] (this written in 1896) "Educational methods
will go on toward perfection, and finally the pupil will not have to
apply himself at all, but the teacher's work will grow more laborious."
What a sage! And this was so long before the internet!
