As you know, Laura, that museum is a huge, cavernous place. I had not heard about the fire, but the pro-Mubarak thugs have been hurling Molotov cocktails at will, so am not
too surprised. I hated hearing that one of the big boat models and figures on it had been trashed; those are so remarkable. They better stay the hell away from the Predynastic flint knives!!

Apparently, the Cairo Museum has been set on fire from one of the Molotov cocktails the pro-Mubarak demonstrators are throwing. The army is trying to put it out.
