I have the pleasure to notice the new site of the Museum of the Origins of
      Man :

      http://members.xoom.it/MUSEOORIGINI/

Here a short synthesis of the content of the site:" the "Museum of the
Origins of Man" promotes the search of the nobler aspects of the
prehistoric man. Collections of the Museum are constituted exclusively from
art and lithic tools of the Paleolithic. The Art is constituted exclusively
from dLower.Middle and Upper Paleolithic lithic sculptures of Western
Europe. The description of the sculptures is based on studies that
interpret the evolution of these, from the origins in the Lower
Paleolithic, to the studies of quality of the Upper Paleolithic. The
descriptions of the findings are based on evolution of the styles, the
techniques of working of the stone and, for the nthropomorfic sculptures,
on the likeness that they have with known human fossils. Moreover, the
interpretations of these sculptures are based on protohistorical,
historical and ethnografic parallelisms, in order to explain the use that
could have in the religious context, that it is the spiritual part of the
man,  deduced, exactly, from the paleolithic art.
Ulterior explanations reach from the paleopsychology, to which a section in
      our site is dedicated ".
