Children need our help!
The St. Baldrick's Foundation has come up with a fun way to raise money
for children's cancer research. People volunteer to shave their heads
in order collect donations. I promised a young cancer survivor that I
would shave my head to raise money and show support.
However, there are some folks who don't want me to shave my head! (I
never realized so many people had such strong opinions about my hair!)
So, the St. Baldrick's Foundation has allowed me to set up two donation
Go to http://www.StBaldricks.org <http://www.stbaldricks.org/> , look at
the green bar at the top, click Find a Participant
On the left side of next page, look for "Search for a Participant or
Team". Where it asks for "Last Name", enter Chidester.
Click on "Go"
The next page should show two pictures of me. If you want me to save my
hair, click on "donate now" under the picture where my hair looks good
and make your donation. If you think I should shave my hair (and I WILL
do it), click on "donate now" under the picture where one of my students
is about to start cutting!
$1 = 1 vote. Vote as many times as you want!
Make your donations by midnight April 14th. At 1pm on April 15th, the
shaving will or will not begin!
Please help me help conquer kids' cancer by donating and by sending this
e-mail and flyer around to everyone you know.
